CREATIVE PROCESS: Filming and photographing an EDM concert focused on inclusivity and safe expression begins long before the first beat drops. I started by collaborating with the event organizers to understand their vision, ensuring that the lineup reflects diverse artists and welcomes all attendees. During the event, I prioritized capturing the vibrant energy of the crowd and the intimate moments between artists and fans. Using a mix of wide shots to showcase the overall atmosphere and close-ups to highlight individual expressions, I aimed to create a narrative that emphasizes the joy and unity found in the music. My ability to adapt quickly to the dynamic environment of a live show allows me to seize spontaneous moments, ensuring that every frame reflects the inclusive spirit of the event.In the editing phase, I weave together the footage to craft a compelling story that resonates with viewers. I focused on maintaining a rhythm that matches the energy of the music while also highlighting moments that promote a sense of belonging—such as fans celebrating together or artists engaging with their audience. Through thoughtful color grading and careful sound design, I enhanced the visual and auditory experience, making it accessible and inviting to all. My proficiency in both videography and photography allows me to produce content that not only showcases the artistry of the event but also reinforces the importance of creating safe spaces for self-expression within the EDM community.
